May Highlights
May has been a busy month for us here at KIC-IT, even amidst the pandemic we have had a lot of exciting things happening and even more in the works that we are thrilled to share with you!
On May 15th we hosted a KIC-IT cares bag distribution. We were able to serve 26 families by distributing bags of food, hygiene and baby items to help meet their needs during this difficult time. Thanks to your generous donations we have been able to serve a total of 50 people this month so far!
KIC-IT added a brand new member to our team in May! We are so excited to have Amanda Goff join us as our Executive Administrative Assistant. Amanda is a Franklin native who is passionate about connecting with and serving our community and has been an asset to the team already!
On May 21st our team had the opportunity to partner with the American Red Cross and Emmanuel Church Franklin by volunteering for their blood drive. There is a big need for blood donors currently and it was so awesome to see so many people from our community stepping up to help others in this way!

Rock the Block

Rock the Block is a 10K (timed), 5K walk/run (family-friendly), and a free Kids Run on June 27, 2020. The event includes scenic courses, food, music, vendors, awards and giveaways-guaranteeing fun for everyone! Proceeds benefit area trail projects and organizations serving youth and families of the Center Grove School Corporation area and Johnson County. Golf For Youth

We are thrilled to announce that KIC-IT will be hosting a golf tournament to help the homeless youth of Johnson County! We are looking for golfers, teams, volunteers and sponsors for this event. See our event page for more info or email us at kicitcares@gmail.com
Back to School Shoe Drive

We want to help the kids in need in our community KIC-IT into the new school year with a new pair of kicks! Please donate new shoes in kids through young adult sizes, monetary donations or gift cards also appreciated. We will be distributing the shoes here at our KIC-IT office, on July 16th from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. See the event page to register your child.
